Central Coast Health Promotion Service has launched a new Healthy High Schools webpage to support good health and wellbeing for secondary school students.
For teachers, it includes programs to help teachers encourage physical activity or choosing water as a drink amongst their students, vaping curriculum resources, a ‘What’s On’ calendar of health promoting activities across 2025, and equipment, costumes and banners to hire free of charge for school activities and events.
For parents, there’s plenty of information and tips to support you, including healthy lunchboxes and healthy recipes to cook at home, as well as advice around things such as mental health and screen time for young people.
For secondary school students, the page has mental health support services and resources, and quit vaping support, including details of the new Pave app.
